500 Pounds!
That's the number of pounds the Lombard Park District recycled with Elgin Recycling from the 'Holiday Lights & Extension Cords' drive from November through January. The Lombard Park District was pretty excited to collect 500 pounds during the first drive we have offered. Drop off containers were located at Sunset Knoll Recreation Center and in Lilacia Park during the Holiday Walk. Thank you to those who dropped off lights and extension cords. We are making our environment a better place with each item that gets recycled!
